WDP is a growing consulting engineering firm headquartered in Manassas, Virginia with additional offices in Charlottesville, Virginia; Austin, Texas; and South Norwalk, Connecticut.

Here at WDP, we place an emphasis on education and proper training, in the office and out in the field. Due to the nature of our work, each day varies from the last, with opportunities to become involved in an array of projects. Our entry-level engineers gain hands-on experience in all specialties by working alongside each project manager during their initial years at the firm. Senior Structural/Architectural Engineer

  • Direct forensic structural and architectural engineering services, failure investigations, litigation
    support services, restoration projects for concrete, masonry, structural steel, roofing,
    waterproofing, curtain walls and related construction materials/systems
  • Develop and grow a regional and national client base
  • Secure interesting and challenging projects for staff under your direct supervision
  • Actively participate at the national level on industry codes, standards and professional committees
  • Share your expertise through publishing and presenting
  • Professional Engineer or AIA registration required
  • Minimum 5-10 years of professional experience
  • Openings available in Charlottesville and Manassas, Virginia

Staff Structural/Architectural Engineer

  • Assist with forensic structural & architectural engineering services, failure investigations, litigation
    support services, restoration projects for concrete, masonry, structural steel, roofing, waterproofing,
    curtain walls and related construction materials/systems
  • Develop expertise in many specialty service areas offered by WDP
  • Learn nondestructive testing methods
  • Participate in interesting and challenging projects where your problem solving skills are tested
  • Gain experience under the direction of a Professional Engineer in fulfillment of registration requirements
  • Openings available in Charlottesville and Manassas, Virginia

The following positions are typically available at WDP:

Technicians/Inspectors - Manassas, Virginia office only
Responsible, motivated candidates to work as soil, concrete, masonry and structural steel inspectors. WACEL/NICET/ACI/AWS certifications are preferred, but we will train the right people. High school diplomas are also preferred but not required. These positions require good mathematical and communication skills.
