| WDP
has extensive laboratory facilities for conducting standardized (ASTM,
AASHTO, etc.) and specialized testing and analysis of concrete, masonry,
steel, soil, and other construction materials. This testing may be conducted
to determine material properties of proposed materials in new construction
projects, establish material properties in existing structures, or to investigate
material failure and performance problems.
In addition
to equipment to test strengths and other physical material properties,
WDP's laboratory includes facilities for mechanical testing, cyclic environmental
testing, chemical analysis, microscopy and corrosion testing. The lab is
inspected regularly by CCRL, AASHTO & the US Army Corps of Engineers
and is accredited by the Washington Area Council of Engineering Laboratories.
