WDP
has an extensive array of equipment which can be used to evaluate structures
via static and dynamic load testing. These type of tests involve the installation
of sensors to monitor the deformation response of a structure as load is
applied. WDP's load testing equipment allows for the effects of both stationary
and transient loads to be monitored. The types of responses that can be
measured include accelerations, displacements, loads, rotations and strains.
WDP's high speed data acquisition system allows for testing to be performed
at sampling rates of up to 100,000 samples per second. All testing functions
are controlled by a notebook computer that can be remotely installed for
long term testing applications.
