Multi-Hazard Consulting Services

WDP provides multi-hazard (Natural as well as Manmade) risk assessment services which identify hazards and key vulnerabilities for desired performance objectives.

We also provide mitigation recommendations and assist clients with decisions to implement recommended mitigation measures. Primary benefits of these studies are:

  • Reduces extent of damage sustained by the building and hence reduces cost of recovery;
  • Reduces duration of business interruption;
  • Enhances insurability of the building;
  • Implementation of mitigation measures also makes the building attractive for tenants or buyers; and
  • In addition to the benefits for individual owners, emergency preparedness enhances resiliency of the community.

WDP's personnel have also served as emergency responders for several post-disaster sites. Through our boots-on-ground experience, we understand how structures perform, the need for time-sensitive response and the importance of thinking on our feet while assessing damaged and/or collapsed structures.
