WDP's
experience with materials and building systems as well as their objective
expertise has led to product evaluation projects for several material manufacturers
and government agencies. Products have included concrete repair materials,
masonry materials, lumber treatments, masonry water repellants, and sheet
metal ductwork. Projects of this type generally rely on WDP's accredited
laboratory and technicians to perform controlled environment testing as
well as WDP's engineers to perform statistical and structural analyses
of the materials and assemblies. Results of WDP's efforts have been used
to verify code compliance, to determine conformance with project specifications,
to strengthen litigation cases, and to determine feasibility of new products
in the marketplace.
