Structural Evaluation

WDP performs structural evaluations of a wide range of structures and industrial and municipal facilities, including buildings, bridges, parking structures, tanks, marine structures, tunnels, culverts, and retaining structures.

These evaluations may be necessary because of existing deterioration, structural failures, assessment of original design, or verification of capacities given as-built conditions. WDP's engineering professionals are experienced at interpreting and analyzing the results of the evaluation components and will develop conclusions and recommendations based on the facts obtained. These recommendations can be used for conducting future investigative work, maintenance scheduling, or performing repairs. Structural evaluations may include review of pertinent plans and documents, field investigations, nondestructive or destructive testing, laboratory analysis and testing, structural analysis, design work for structural repairs or strengthening, contract document preparation, and construction management.
