Are the inspectors on your project site competent and properly certified?
You have hired an engineering firm to perform third-party inspections for your project but how do you know if their inspectors are competent?
All of WDP inspectors hold multiple certifications through WACEL, ACI, or VDOT. Certain inspections require upper level certifications. For example, a footing inspection must be inspected by a foundation certified inspector and not a person who just holds a basic concrete level I certification. Two of WDP’s Senior Associates who have served as WACEL Presidents provide guidance and motivation for our technicians to achieve the highest possible certifications beyond the basic levels. In addition, WDP’s inspectors receive on-the-job training alongside a senior inspector to ensure field competency as well as classroom competency.
