WDP Staff to Present at 2019 NAMC Conference
Patrick Dillion, Ph.D., P.E., Project Engineer I of WDP’s Charlottesville office, will be presenting “Preliminary Study of Galvanic Corrosion on Veneer Anchors” at the 13th North American Masonry Conference (NAMC) in Salt Lake City, Utah, on June 16-19, 2019. In addition, Patrick was appointed as the Technical Chair for the conference. As technical chair, he has responsibility for all aspects of the conference’s technical program, which includes coordinating the efforts of technical experts and volunteers, managing reviews of submitted manuscripts, organizing the conference’s technical sessions, and serving as editor of the conference proceedings. He also served on the conference organizing committee, where he played an integral role in planning and leading the conference.
The conference seeks to provide a forum to professionals from around the world for networking and sharing the latest advances in masonry knowledge and practice. It will feature tracks of interest to masonry researchers, designers, practitioners, educators, and building managers.
