Last Thursday, WDP was excited to attend the topping out ceremony for the William & Mary Wren Building restoration project! WDP is honored to contribute to the preservation of this historic landmark building. Thursday’s milestone was the culmination of years of work with the building, beginning with WDP’s investigation into causes of moisture intrusion and moisture-related deterioration at the building interior and exterior. WDP’s work progressed through design of the historic treatment program for the interior and exterior repairs and continued with the current construction administration services. The treatment program includes repairs of below-grade waterproofing, windows, brick masonry, plaster, and wood finishes in addition to roof replacement.
