WDP is pleased to announce the promotions of Jason Yates and BJ Lee to the position of Associate.  

Jason Yates

Jason started with WDP in November 1993 as a Staff Engineer and was promoted to Project Engineer in 2002 and Senior Engineer in 2008.  He has been instrumental in mentoring and teaching our staff throughout the years in many aspects of WDP’s services including nondestructive test methods and roofing assessment and replacement design. In addition, Jason is a member of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), DC Chapter of the Association for Preservation Technology (APT), and the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC), formerly the Roofing Consultants Institute (RCI). 


BJ Lee

BJ started with WDP in October 2006 as a Staff Engineer and was promoted to Project Engineer in 2009 and Senior Engineer in 2015.  He has been heavily involved in the training and mentoring of junior staff in regard to structural analysis and design.  BJ has written over 15 technical papers and articles in nationally recognized journals and proceedings, which included topics such as “Development of Precast Prestressed Three-Wythe Concrete Sandwich Wall Panels” and “Experimental Study on Structural Behavior of Double-Angle Shear Connections.”  Additionally, BJ is a member of the Post Tensioning Institute (PTI), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and American Concrete Institute where he is a member of Committee 216 - Fire Resistance and Fire Protection of Structures and Committee 546 - Repair of Concrete.
