James F. Cooper Middle School

The Cooper Middle School renovations and additions include a new second floor for classroom space that will be built over a portion of the existing first floor, a new main entrance, reconfigured administration space, expansions to the cafeteria and main gym, a new courtyard and play area, and reconfigured and expanded parking addition.

Site improvements include two underground SWM/BMP facilities, sidewalks and concrete patios, new utilities and site walls. All of the construction for the building improvements will be inspected and tested under the Fairfax County Critical Structures Program requirements.

WDP is currently providing construction/special inspections and materials testing for the project to ensure compliance with the approved plans and specifications.
