When cracks were identified in the exterior walls of Frank Lyodd Wright’s most significant contribution to Manhattan’s building inventory, curators searched for a team to identify the cause and determine how to restore the building to its original condition. WDP was engaged by the repair design team to perform an evaluation of the embedded steel and determine the cause of the corrosion that was causing damage to the iconic building’s façade and served as the specialty corrosion consultant during the recently completed façade restoration program.
This project was an ICRI Project of the Year Award Winner.
