Abby Cowser, E.I.T., Staff Engineer II
Abby is a Staff Engineer II at WDP's Manassas office.
Abby assists project managers in field investigations and testing, structural analysis, project document reviews and developments, and construction oversight.
“During my time at Penn State, I had the opportunity to travel with Penn State's chapter of Engineers in Action: Bridge Program to Rwanda (Summer of 2017) and Bolivia (Summer of 2019) to collaboratively construct footbridges with rurally isolated communities in order to improve their access to essential resources. I was inspired by how infrastructure could change the lives of an entire community and as a result pursued Civil Engineering with the personal goal of continuing to change lives through infrastructure and access to opportunity. My role with WDP allows me to solve complex technical challenges to enhance the built world around us."
