Adam D’Alessandro, P.E., Senior Engineer

WDP Office: Charlottesville

Adam specializes in building envelopes and structural analysis, with an emphasis on historic building renovations. He has experience in all phases of the historic renovation process with investigations, design and construction administration.

“In my career, I have gravitated towards historic preservation because it combines two of my interests, history and problem solving. With historic buildings, each project presents unique problems that are tied not only to the current conditions but also to the time period that the construction took place. Solving these problems requires finding and putting all of the pieces of the puzzle together.”
