BJ is a structural engineer with expertise in materials, analysis, design, construction, and repair with special emphasis on structural concrete, steel, masonry, wood, and other exterior building envelope systems.

“It is fascinating to understand how the building materials behave and fail. I have been an eye-witness to numerous structural issues as well as performance failures in construction and have enjoyed the challenge to diagnose and evaluate the causes of the problems. Development of the repair concepts and details is another challenge I enjoy, and my goal is to serve our clients with the optimal design that addresses cost and public safety.”
