I have often thanked WDP & Associates for their work for the City of Manassas but wanted to particularly note the excellent job the company did for us on this last task.

As you know, the City of Manassas entered into a Purchase and Sale Agreement for approximately 5 acres as a site for Fire and Rescue Station 21.  The project has been much delayed due to community opposition regarding our first chosen site.  When we agreed on an alternative site, we only had 45 days in which to conclude our due diligence.  Geotech is not normally a due diligence task, but in this case, we felt it necessary to confirm that this site would work for the public facility.  WDP & Associates immediately responded to our need from the beginning by assisting in scoping what was needed and turning around the survey and report in record time.

All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of work and responsiveness of WDP & Associates.

The Facilities Management Department of the College of William & Mary has had the opportunity to work with WDP & Associates’ professionals for approximately seven years on projects involving structural investigations, repair design and repair construction management. In each circumstance, WDP has demonstrated a professional approach, high quality service and absolute reliability with respect to quality of work and on time production of deliverables.

WDP has designed and supervised structural repairs for the College's Graduate Student Housing Complex which includes the facade replacement on nine, three story dormitory buildings. The repair program has been executed in phases since 2005 during summer breaks. They are currently the designer for a three phased structural repair of damages caused by differential movement between brick and limestone on another residence hall facade. My experience thus reinforces the importance of having WDP as a part of our team on future projects. Working with the staff at WDP has been a positive experience as they fully understand the importance of providing accurate work product in a timely manner. We are extremely pleased with the performance of WDP, and count ourselves fortunate to have a firm of this caliber addressing our facility requirements.

The Town of Warrenton has maintained a very good working relationship with WDP for over 9 years. WDP has provided geotechnical engineering consulting and third party special inspections for a number of projects during this period with the most notable projects being the construction of the town Visitor Center, the construction of the $23,000,000 aquatic ­­- recreation complex and the construction of an earthen dam for a 7 acre lake.

The Town has maintained the relationship due to the quality of the professional services in the geotechnical field and the thorough analysis of site conditions being translated into comprehensive project specifications. The results of their efforts leave no “wiggle” room for general contractors attempt unnecessary change orders. WDP’s association with Prince William County Schools is approaching fifteenyears. During this time, their firm has been PWCS’ primary resource for geotechnical investigations, soils and site construction recommendations and inspections, structural inspections, and materials testing. The geotechnical engineering department staff of WDP has worked for the Manassas Regional Airport for over 10 years providing various geotechnical engineering and construction inspection and material testing services. WDP has provided geotechnical services for five different projects on our airport and we have been very satisfied with WDP's professionalism, expertise, timeliness, and their ability to work with difficult contractors.

More recently, they managed the placement of over 300,000 cubic yards of fill material on a site that will be used for the construction of corporate hangars.
