Center for the Sciences Building

Radford University’s state-of-the-art research building comprises of laboratory space, classrooms, offices, and common-use rooms to accommodate multi-disciplinary research areas. The building serves researchers in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geology, Anthropological Sciences, and Forensic Science. The building also features a vivarium and a rooftop planetarium.

During construction, WDP assisted the University with building envelope services by providing mock-up reviews, as well as periodic site visits, to identify potential conflicts with envelope details and flashings, and to observe the masonry construction practices for deviations from the construction documents. WDP also provided QA/QC window testing to verify the performance of the installed windows.
