Manassas Office Rock Climbing

Manassas staff took a short detour on their commute home this Monday to go to the nearby Vertical Rock Climbing and Fitness Center. Putting down the hard hats in favor of chalk and climbing gear was a fun way to socialize and try a challenging activity for both our new and experienced climbers. Thanks to the Employee Interaction Committee for coordinating this event!

Special Consulting Summer 2024 Interns

This summer, WDP’s Special Consulting Divisions in Charlottesville and Manassas brought on two talented engineering students, Katrina Clark and Will Griffin, from the University of Virginia and Benedictine College. Below is a brief summary of what they’ve been working on for the past few months:

  • Katrina Clark worked on developing repair documents for Dinwiddie Elementary, performed site investigations for UVA Peabody Hall, and reviewed submittals for VCU Williams House.
  • Will Griffin worked mostly onsite observing repairs to a residential community in Maryland related to siding, stone veneer, and low slope roofing.

Thank you both for your efforts on these projects and others. We can’t wait to see the amazing things you’ll achieve in the future!
