The 6-story 230,896 SF residence hall is the home of the Creativity and Innovation District Living-Learning Program at Virginia Tech. It offers housing for approximately 600 students in addition to classrooms, an auditorium, a library, art studios, laundry facilities, and a rooftop green space.
WDP was hired by the University under our term contract to provide design phase services as well as construction observation and testing services on the mockup and in-situ building conditions for the project. The building opened to students in August 2021.
