Patrick evaluates structural and building envelope systems. He has a Ph.D. in civil engineering with an emphasis on structural design and statistical modeling.

During their lifetimes, these sacred structures—like their human occupants—are subject to infirmities or life-ending events due to natural processes, human error, or a lack of care.
