“When evaluating existing buildings, I have the opportunity to see first-hand how products, systems, design concepts, and construction practices have performed over time. I find this experience provides a unique perspective when working on new construction projects. Similarly, my experience on new construction projects provides exposure to new products, systems, and installation practices, influencing my approach to the repair design. Whether it is solving existing problems or helping mitigate the potential for future problems, it is really rewarding working with a variety of people to develop functional solutions. And I really enjoy that the nature of my job gives me a unique perspective that I can bring to the table.”
Andrew co-authored articles on Foam Failures and Preventing Water Penetration Through Brick Veneer, which are featured in the Construction Specifier magazine. He has authored multiple papers on Spray Foam Failures published by ASTM and CSI. Andrew published multiple papers on Water Penetration through Masonry in CSI and The Masonry Society (TMS). Andrew also presents WDP’s courses on Why Buildings Leak and Air Barriers & Building Performance.
