Andy is a leader in forensic structural engineering specializing in failure investigations, rehabilitation of existing structures, development of restoration design specifications, construction management and inspection, and litigation support. He co-founded WDP & Associates in 1995 and has since assumed the role of overseeing WDP’s technical work product, ensuring the consistent delivery of accurate, reliable, high-quality services. He has received The Masonry Society’s TMS Service Award as well as the University of Virginia Facilities Management Recognition Award for “exemplary service during reconstruction of balconies at the historic Pavilions in Thomas Jefferson’s Academic Village”. Andy currently serves as Committee Secretary for the Masonry Standards Joint Committee responsible for the development of TMS 402/ACI 530/ASCE 5 and TMS 602/ACI 530.1/ASCE 6-Building Code Requirements and Specification for Masonry Structures. He has also conducted over 50 presentations for industry organizations and conferences and authored more than 25 articles in technical journals and publications.
